I am so happy I bought this. I do back stretches, and need to be on the floor.. Getting up & down is hard at 77, and carpets are hard. This helps sooo much! I don’t hurt my knees when getting down or getting up. The mat is comfortable and provides plenty of padding. It is easy to roll up and store with the included strap. I am tall, and there is extra length, so my head and feet are on the mat. This was a good purchase! This has not torn, and wipes down easily. It doesn’t attract dog hair, which is another reason I wanted a mat.

Love my mat!

Color: Pink, Style: 1/2 Inch

I’m new to stretching and recovery classes, and there is a lot of floor work. I was using the gym mats, but my knees, lower back, and glutes were hurting from being on the floor. This mat is the perfect thickness and feels wonderful during floor exercises. It gives me the extra cushion I need without being difficult to use. It’s also lightweight, durable, easy to clean, and easy to roll up for transport. The pink makes me smile. That said , the mat makes the classes more enjoyable.

Great value

Color: Aqua, Style: 1-Inch

Perfect exercise mat. It is nice and thick, and comfortable to kneel and lay on. Can't comment on durability, but so far, so good. Recommended.

Thick, soft, perfect for my service dog to lay on in restaurants, etc.

Color: Blue, Style: 1/2 Inch

I bought this for my service dog to lay on in restaurants, etc. It's super thick and soft. I cut it in half and I'm using the other half for my dog to lay on in the car. Excellent quality and I love the carry strap.

Comfortable and thick mat that’s great for workouts at home

Color: Black, Style: 1/2 Inch, Color: Black, Style: 1/2 Inch

I picked up this Amazon Basics extra thick exercise mat for home workouts, and it’s been a solid addition. The thickness is the first thing you notice—it provides good cushioning, especially for exercises where you’re on your knees, elbows, or back. The surface has enough grip to keep you from slipping during most movements, whether you're doing stretching, core work, or basic workouts. It also stays in place pretty well on the floor without sliding around too much. The mat rolls out flat easily and comes with a strap, which makes it convenient to store or carry if needed. It’s lightweight enough to move around but still feels durable. It’s not a high-end studio mat, but for everyday workouts at home, it does exactly what you need it to do. Pros: • Extra thickness provides good cushioning • Comfortable for floor exercises • Lightweight and easy to store • Good value for the price Cons: • Slight compression over time with heavy use • Grip is good but not premium-level Overall, this is a great budget-friendly mat for home workouts, stretching, or basic fitness routines.
