There’s no noise at all, and it’s solid. Took less than 2 minutes to assemble, truly a couple clicks and 2 hand screws. The full came in 2 pieces so the compact size together is about the size of a suitcase and very flat, we could almost take this camping it’s so handy. I don’t often write reviews but I was shocked. Then we bought one for our foam mattress when the box springs was wearing out. Amazing ! It fit perfectly in inside our queen size bed frame with a headboard and footboard. Love it. We also bought one as stand alone frame for the guestbed foam mattress. We're happy campers! These are strong, inexpensive and much easier to move than a platform bed or box springs.
