This book was purchased for me as a baby shower gift. My daughter is obsessed with this book. We have read it so much that our first copy has seen some damage (the book is sturdy, the damage is our fault). I had to get another copy just to keep forever. I will also be purchasing the hard cover book to keep in my collection to have forever. The illustration is brilliant, we love Oscar, the writing itself is so fun. The book rhymes throughout the pages and it's so cute and almost reminds me of song that could have sung by the "Animaniacs" (my age is showing lol). In one of the pics I show the cover damaged but that's from my son chewing on the book. Just because it's a board book doesn't meant it's exempt from damage, just makes it last a little longer than a paperback. I also REALLY like that there is a page that lists the bugs seen along with their names which is helpful in teaching your little one! My son enjoyed this beautiful book. :)
