Birds of ChristmasA stunning folktale about the Nativity, set on a chilly night in Bethlehem. Wake up, wake up, birds! croaks Raven one December night. A child is born! Each bird longs to bring a gift to the newborn baby in the manger. Nightingale sings a sweet song; Rooster caws a special call; Stork plucks her feathers to make a pillow. I have nothing to give, thinks little Robin. But as the night grows colder, the fire keeping the stable warm burns lower and lower.

Surprisingly decent for the price! The wood is actually pretty and high quality, but the manufacturing isn't great. The set a received is quite rough and my wife continues to think she will get a splinter. They also are oiled but they are quite dry still and also smell heavily of the mineral oil they use.

Beautiful but terrible quality.

While I absolutely loved the idea of cutting boards with a stand, these were not the right choice. The wood is exceptionally soft and after the first use the gouges from my knife were pretty deep. After I washed the cutting board from cutting veggies, it started to splinter. Maybe I just got a defective set but I definitely do not recommend this set. Will be returning and getting a different brand/board.

Comprehensive and Engaging New Testament Resource

Format: Hardcover

From Pentecost to Patmos, 2nd Edition by Craig Blomberg is an outstanding introduction to the New Testament books from Acts through Revelation. The author combines scholarly depth with clarity, making it an excellent resource for both students and lay readers looking to deepen their understanding of Scripture. Blomberg’s analysis is thorough, offering historical context, theological insights, and practical applications. The updated content in this second edition keeps it relevant, and the engaging writing style makes complex topics approachable. I especially appreciated how each book is tied to its overarching theme in the New Testament narrative. This book is perfect for college courses or personal study, offering a well-rounded exploration of these essential biblical texts. A must-read for anyone serious about understanding the New Testament!
