Possibly post war made, but this style was introduced in the 1930's and continued in production into the post war years. It does not work as far as I can tell. It does hold pressure when you put it on a tire but I did not notice any reading.

These are high quality and are nice additions for the VIVO standing desks. However, they only fit slim power strips. My power strips were too wide to fit these. I ended up just using Velcro and Command strips to attach the power strip under my desk and purchasing cable management wires. In the end, I think it turned out much better than using these cable management trays and also saved me a significant amount of money.
