The conversion is done by 'New Old Stock' Burr Brown PCM1704, a dual mono DAC chip favoured by Exposure, and to my ears is still far ahead of many contemporary designs. Great stuff. Its super light, once the smell wears away you forget you every applied sunscreen. It also goes on super easily and doesn't leave my face super shiny. To my surprise it also doesn't come off easily with sweat. I've used other brands and the moment you sweat it just all washes away. Overall great stuff. The fragrance is a bit strong for me but I usually use unscented stuff so I'm extra sensitive to it. Good thing is the smell does wear away after a little bit.
