During WWII, the German Army employed the powerful motorcycle for messenger and reconnaissance missions. The KS600 is one of the best known in the 600cc class, as it featured lightweight, rigid pressed steel frames, plus a horizontally opposed 2 cylinder 597cc engine and 4 speed transmission.
