Thought it might be nice to have pantry stable veggies. However, they have a noticeable sourness due to the lactic acid used as preservative. This is probably necessary to avoid heating/cooking as is done with canned vegetables. They are much crispier than canned vegetables. The sourness might be fine in some dishes or to some tastes.
