I am a fan of the late Dr. Heiser. He was a consummate scholar who was not afraid to challenge the status quo or tradition in cases where he felt Scripture was being mishandled or interpreted out of context. This book, the second of a two volume commentary series on the book of Enoch, was written to provide a readable commentary text to help the average person to understand this fascinating second temple period composition.
