This item works on a suction method creating a vacuum between the unit and the surface, allowing it to hold up to 5kg. In order to create a vacuum, the surface must be smooth with no gaps or pin holes. Be aware this product will not be effective on matte tiles or surfaces such as limestone, which are porous.

I bought this for my husband and looks great! The material is a little clingy, so I would get a one size up for a better fit. He has received numerous compliments.
