The strap is a little worn and does seem like its a replacement, but it looks like it would be difficult to remove. The crystal is scratched up a bit and the black of the face has some bubbles in the paint. It seems like it was probably moist a few times in its life. I was looking for an affordable, quick replacement for my previous matcha set and found this item. For the price point, this is great quality and is such a cute addition to my kitchen. I also like that this includes all the essentials for making a matcha. The chasen does seem to be on the more fragile side though so I'd just be careful and properly take care of it such as blooming it in hot water before any usage and whisk with a very lighthand.

Super cute and fun to use, easy to clean, appears to be very well-made. Excellent, especially for such a low price. I will say the only complaint I have is that the spout design could use some work; the end of it doesn't come out far enough so it dribbles a bit when you try to pour. Also, and maybe this is to be expected due to the use of natural materials, but there are a couple of small split pieces/splinters on the chasen (whisk) I had to trim. Otherwise perfect!
