Marcel Guay, Wood Sculpture, Fish MongerThis is a very large and detailed hand carved, wood sculpture, by Marcel Guay. Signed by the artist. I'm unsure of the type of wood but it's likely pine. This piece is in excellent condition. Since the 1930s, the Bourgault family of Saint Jean Port Joli, Quebec has been world renowned for wood sculpture. Marcel Guay studied under Andre Bourgault before opening his own establishment in 1964. You can read more about the Bourgault family, Marcel Guay and

I think this tray is a good value compared to other vendor's products that are $100+. I plan to keep it because it is a good value for me. HOWEVER, realize that the metal base does not extend across the full base of the cork liner. Metal pieces are only on the edge of long side of the liner. Also, the metal is lightweight.

The Ideal Organizer

The UPERGO Valet Tray is an ideal size for my nightstand. It does not slide around but stays put where I position it. Each section is useful for the items I want to keep close at hand but in an organized fashion, cell phone, wallet glasses, change, etc. I love the cork interior of the tray; it’s stylish and functional.
