Pendants-Hudson Valley-1010In the first half of the twentieth century, Danish architects attempted to address the issue of glare inherent in electric light. In our Barron family, we apply the solution they came up with layered, curved shades to light fixtures with a floral bent. A finely textured black on the outside and a metal finish on the inside, Barron's shades are a visual delight in person. Opal etched diffusers nested in pairs within each shade further soften and

A major section of this book is on data visualization, where it discusses how to set the color of data points, as well as how to make certain color gradients. Why then would the publisher choose to print these sections in black and white. Some of the figures are proved pointless as you can't even see what the author is trying to convey. Really disappointed with that section of this book.

Soulful writing and incredible content

Format: Paperback

I’m now on I think my fifth book by Max. God gifted him with a talent to write in a way that speaks to the heart. I look forward to daily morning worship using his books as a guide. I love that they have chapter study questions that guide you through Bible verses and thoughtful reflection. This book was my first and I’ve since loaned it out to my mom who is loving it as much as I did!

God's Love, His grace & His mercies are truly amazing.

Format: Kindle

I love the reassuring title, God Never Gives up on You. I think this book is more about God than it is about Jacob. I particularly enjoy & appreciate Max Lucado's writing style especially when he interjects clever humor that aids in understanding his message. And his message is an especially encouraging one...God is not looking for opportunities to judge, chastise or punish His children. But rather, He wants to bless us, so He continues to give us grace that we can never earn nor deserve... And although Jacob's story makes it clear that God doesn't wink at sin, it also demonstrates what an awesome, loving & kind God we serve! Thanks, Max, for giving us such a beautiful, well-written glimpse into the character & love of God & His awesome grace
