They are pretty much unnoticeable when wearing the rig. If you own a container from Apex there is a pocket between the floor plate and the back pad that these will slide into. Love this handheld electric shaver! The noise level is very low , about the same as a pair of small trimmers. It is very easy to take apart and clean .
