It is in good condition, I did not see any cracks or chips. This would have held a ribbon with both metal reels. The advertisement is from Signal magazine April 1 1943.

Very cute

Definitely for a Baby
This little Pooh is as described and definitely for a baby. I had hoped to gift it to an adult but upon receipt, I realized while it is a lovely gift for a baby, it would not relate well for an adult. The ears crunch and there is a sweet rattle inside. It’s very soft and a baby would find it comforting.
