Class 73 - GBRf (Current) - 73961 Alison73961 GBRf, Current 73961 was the first 73 9 to enter traffic during 2014. The former E6026 73120 73209 had test runs at the Great Central Railway in Leicestershire during 2014 pairing with some interesting traction. The paint had weathered well but by 2024 it was looking rather work worn and as such became the first 73 9 to re enter the paint shop, this time at Eastleigh and it received the slightly darker shade of blue which is used by GBRf

A little longer than the filter the mechanic used last time, and that is a good thing.
At first I was concerned that this filter is about 3/16" longer than whatever one was there before, but it went in perfectly, and I realized I was getting extra filtering ability over the old one. Pleased. Volvo S60 2001.

Almost a Five Star
I have used this brand exclusively on my BMW (110K) and Volvo (90K), with synthetic oil changes at 6000 miles religiously, and neither burns a single drop of oil. I have never seen any "failure" of the filter, which remains firm until the end. Unfortunately the price advantage has been eroding over the years- boo. So lost a star for that-
