I almost returned this item because, as some others also mentioned, the top is very hard to remove. It needs a little indentation for your finger! But I liked the size and style so I persevered and once you remove it a few times, it eventually comes off easier. This grinder works beautifully. It’s lovely on your table as well as your spice rack. The adjustable grind levels makes it easy to use and I highly recommend this item.

Exactly as I it hoped it to be!

Such a great, little pepper grinder! Works very well and the adjustable grind size is a nice feature. Highly recommend if you need one that doesn't take up too much space.

much better than standard plastic cutting blades

Color: 2pk

They work well, and I'm not getting ground up plastic in my food. One issue--the thin tops can be difficult to pry off, even with fingernails. One of the tops came apart (metal cover, black plastic inner part), so I'll have to glue them together.

Grinds like a champ

Color: 2pk

It was meant to replace an older, different set of grinders, and so far, it's holding up well, and grinding the peppercorns easily. The salt crystals are mostly uniform, but that's OK since we don't use it as a finishing salt. If we ever need to replace them, which I hope not this soon, we'd buy this one again.
