2016 Château d'Yquem, Yquemauternes, Bordeaux 75% Smillon, 25% Sauvignon Blanc The 2016 d'Yquem is liquid gold with a PhD in complexity a breathtaking ballet of candied apricot, saffron, and crme brle, all laser cut by the estates signature acidity (WA 98pts, JS 99pts). The botrytis is pitch perfect, adding layers of honeycomb and orange blossom without sacrificing freshness. While already spellbinding with foie gras or blue cheese, its electric tension promises a 50+ year

This one went right back after hours spent on set-up. Room correction software was buggy as well. I couldn't get it going and called it a day and bought the Onkyo TX-RZ50 which is equally hard to get consistent sound and and hard to cnnect to WiFi and Bluetooth. Onkyo support, however, is far superior.

Great receiver, Digital Room Correction is worth it

Style: AVR-X3800H

Being a refurb, the unit seems brand new. No issues at all, working great so far after months of use. Audyssey XT32 works really well in my main seating position. Any other listening position on the couch is not great, but not the receivers issue. Just noting that there’s only so much you can fix with digital room correction, my room is the opposite of ideal. Love the multiple sub control. Dynamic EQ is fantastic also. Audyssey transformed my music. My 5.2 speaker setup is Frankenstein’d together with different brands and it was interesting to see the drastically different frequency responses of each speaker. With it all tuned, it sounds great. I find myself just sitting down and jamming to music for hours.

Solid!

Style: AVR-X3800H

It's a rock-solid receiver with modern and future-proof features. Denon isn't the flashiest or most aesthetically pleasing design; however, the unit is reliable and sounds great. I used Dirac Live to fine tune the system, and it's been a worthwhile upgrade from my X-2700.

DOA

Style: AVR-X3800H

It was Dead On Arrival. It powered on for a few seconds, then powered off. I sent it back.
