In 1922 he married Inger Jensen daughter of Georg Jensen. In 1929 they moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada where he was employed by Henry Birks & Sons. It fit well and looked ok. However the material was thinner and flimsier than I expected. It was quite wrinkled and I couldn’t iron it well without risking melting it due to the polyester content. After ironing for about an hour on low heat it was passable but it was a lot of work to only get a passable result.
