Inside the housing, the ceramic element is tilted to provide built in deadrise compensation. The resulting vertical beam provides excellent echo returns for more accurate depth readings. Awesome jean jacket (that acid washed look which is what I enjoy going for). It fits me really nicely (snug to say the least). It's not a loose fitting jacket, but I believe that's the currently style for jean jackets. I like that tigher fitting jacket where you can wear a longer t-shirt underneath (like an oversized t-shirt would look really nice with this jacket, or a tie dye type t-shirt). Quality? 10 out of 10! It's thick, it's well-made and came very nicely packed. :)
