Because the chemical exfoliant already cleans deep inside the pores and dissolves dead skin cells, this manual friction gel finds nothing left to grab onto. It is a decent, gentle physical exfoliant that does the job, but if you already use a chemical exfoliant like BHA, you can safely skip this social media trend.
