He is three now and although the original toy is still useable it was showing a little wear so I purchased a second one for his third birthday. This toy now has like cotton and polyester strings through the toy tied into knots it easily to chews a part with the dogs, sticks in their teeth and makes a mess, Also easily pulls right through out of the rubber chew toy .
